In September 2021 the Defra-funded Yorkshire and South West Property Flood Resilience (PFR) pathfinder projects reached their conclusion, bringing to an end our role as a key project delivery partner.
Over the course of these two-year projects, we were tasked with raising awareness of PFR, identifying the barriers that exist to the uptake of PFR and developing tools to help individuals, businesses and communities manage their flood risk.
In our latest podcast Head of Resilience and Water Management, Peter May is joined by Northern Flood Resilience Hub Lead, Shelley Evans and Emergency Planning Lead, Phil Emonson who reflect on the successes of an innovative approach, the challenge of adapting plans during the pandemic and the key lessons learnt.
Click the interactive document below to hear the thoughts of Shelley and Phil – and make sure to explore the five highlighted articles and videos for more on the pathfinder projects and innovations.
For more information about each of these projects please contact Shelley Evans (Yorkshire PFR Pathfinder) or Phil Emonson (South West PFR Pathfinder).
