We’re looking for skilled graduate and post-graduate engineers to support our work delivering a variety of interesting and exciting infrastructure projects in the flood risk management, rail, coastal, highways and bridges, and development sectors.
If you have a background in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, Coastal, Mechanical or Electrical engineering, our graduate training scheme gives you the chance to gain hands on experience working on some of our most exciting projects. From the design of fluvial and coastal flood defence schemes to river restoration and water level management schemes, you’ll play an integral part in a wide range of projects.

Engineering Graduate Role Requirements
To be considered for a place on our Engineering Graduate Scheme you should have:
Good grades at A-Level in one or more of the following subjects: Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths.
A higher degree in an engineering or water related discipline may be advantageous, although is not a prerequisite.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. You must be able to work in a team or independently.
A degree in a relevant discipline e.g. Civil or structural Engineering, Engineering Geology or Environmental Engineering.
An ability to complete engineering design calculations and produce concise reports, specifications and engineering drawings.
Confidence and willingness to carry out surveys and site visits.
