JBA Group Ltd is proud to announce the establishment of an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) on 3 April 2024. Head-quartered in Skipton, North Yorkshire and with 25 offices worldwide employing 930 people, JBA Group Ltd comprises environmental, engineering, risk management and catastrophe modelling companies helping clients across the globe to build resilience to flood and environmental risk in a changing climate.
JBA Group has been proudly Yorkshire headquartered, independent, and employee owned since the incorporation of our first company, Jeremy Benn Associates Limited, on 6 September 1996. This defining characteristic runs through the JBA Group philosophy and approach to business.
Founded in 1995, by Group Executive Chair, Jeremy Benn, JBA Group has grown to be one of the leading world specialists in flood risk, environmental, engineering and environmental management. Establishing an EOT is the natural next step in the employee ownership journey.

We provide funding and technical support to our independent charity, JBA Trust, to support research and promote the growth of knowledge and skills in the water environment sector. As part of our wider family, we also have Mekong Modelling Associates - offering technical expertise in all areas of rivers and water management in the ASEAN region and JBA Bentley - a joint venture with civil engineering contractor JN Bentley working on design and build civil engineering projects.
