Do you have a passion for software
development and a keen eye for detail?

Would you like to achieve a Software Tester qualification whilst working in an exciting environmental company?

We are seeking an Apprentice Software Tester to join our dynamic team and embark on an exciting journey in the world of software quality assurance. As a key member of our software development lifecycle, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with experienced developers and testers to ensure the highest standards of quality for our software products whilst building your technical skills and working towards a formal apprenticeship qualification. An apprenticeship is a fantastic alternative to a traditional campus-based programme, with the opportunity to earn a salary whilst still achieving a qualification.

In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for thoroughly testing our software applications, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement improvements. Your analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in software testing methodologies will be invaluable as you contribute to the creation of robust and reliable software solutions. As an Apprentice Software Tester, you will receive mentorship and training to enhance your skills, making this position an ideal stepping stone for a successful career in software testing and quality assurance. If you’re eager to make a meaningful impact on software quality and grow as a professional in the field, we encourage you to apply and become a part of our innovative team.

We have a wide range of clients including Environment Agency, Natural Resources Wales, Network Rail, local authorities, utilities companies, international development banks, and international humanitarian organisations.

Both permanent and fixed term roles are available. The roles would be well suited to those with a passion for quality assurance in and software development, those looking for a career change or just starting out on their career path.
