Are you interested in Civil Engineering and want to join a dynamic and growing company whilst working to achieve a BEng degree?
We have an exciting opportunity within our Edinburgh Civil Engineering team for a Civil Engineering apprentice. An apprenticeship is a fantastic alternative to a traditional campus-based programme, with the opportunity to earn a salary whilst still achieving a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) Civil Engineering degree.
Candidates will be required to build a knowledge of civil engineering and will possess an interest in developing and progressing a career in engineering consultancy. They will report to a Senior Technician / Engineer and will assist with the delivery of a range of engineering infrastructure and environmental improvement projects for flood, coastal management, railways, reservoirs, highways and green engineering.
Working with clients across the public, private and third sectors, candidates will assist our engineering teams with the development and delivery of asset inspections, options appraisals, concept designs and detailed scheme designs.
The roles would be well suited to those looking for a career change or just starting out on their career path.
