Apprentice Water and Environment Flood Risk Management Technician
Are you interested in Water and Environment Flood Risk Management? Do you want to join a dynamic and growing company whilst working to achieve a BSc degree?
We are seeking enthusiastic Trainee Water and Environment Flood Risk Management Technicians to join our growing environmental consultancy teams and complete a five-year environmental IEMA accredited apprenticeship. A degree apprenticeship is a fantastic alternative to a traditional campus-based programme, with the opportunity to earn a salary whilst still achieving a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Environmental Management degree.
Candidates will be required to build a knowledge of water, environment and flood risk management and will possess an interest in developing and progressing a career in environmental consultancy. They will support our teams to assist with the delivery of a wide range of projects, including hydrological assessments, hydraulic modelling studies, options appraisal, flood risk assessments, strategic flood risk assessments and resilience studies.
Following completion of probation and successful apprenticeship enrolment, apprenticeships would start in Autumn 2023. Study will be undertaken in the form of day or block release at university combined with supported workplace training, working to achieve a BSc in Environmental Management.
