Apprentice – Business Administrator

Could you provide administrative support to our Business Support team?

Our Saltaire office is seeking an enthusiastic, responsible, and organised person to provide reception and administrative support. You will be joining a team who support our wider company with business support.  

The successful candidates’ responsibilities and duties will vary, but would include supporting with:

  • Answering external calls
  • General administrative tasks
  • Data and information management
  • Formatting of reports and figures
  • Collation and management of information/data
  • Formatting and proof-reading
  • Contributing to the organisation and delivery of projects.
  • The role will require working from our Skipton office on some occasions.

An apprenticeship is a fantastic opportunity to earn whilst you learn. Following completion of probation and successful apprenticeship enrolment, apprenticeships would start in Autumn 2023. 

The successful candidates will be expected to work towards a Level 3 apprenticeship in accordance with the Business Administrator apprenticeship standard which can be viewed here. This will involve a proportion of the working week covering the course, and/or completing coursework, combined with supported workplace training.

Location:

This post will be based in our Saltaire, BD18 3LF office, there will be occasional requirement to work from our Skipton Broughton Park, BD23 3FD office.

Qualifications and experience

Key competencies required for the role:
 
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic team player.  Applicants should hold a minimum of five GCSEs, including Maths and English (Grades 9 to 4 (A* to C) (or equivalent) be educated to ‘A’ level (or equivalent) and possess sufficient I.T. skills to learn relevant software tools under supervision, i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

·         Conscientious and have a good eye for detail.
