Apprentice Business Administrator
Are you enthusiastic and organised?
Could you provide administrative support to our Learning, Development Marketing and Business Support teams?
Our Skipton office is seeking an enthusiastic, responsible, and organised person to provide administrative support. You will be joining a team who support our wider company with business support, marketing and coordination of training both internally to our staff as well as externally to our clients.
The successful candidates’ responsibilities and duties will vary, but would include supporting with:
- General administrative tasks
- Data and information management
- formatting of reports and figures
- Collation and management of information/data
- Formatting and proof-reading
- Contributing to the organisation and delivery of projects.
An apprenticeship is a fantastic opportunity to earn whilst you learn. Following completion of probation and successful apprenticeship enrolment, apprenticeships would start in Autumn 2023.
The successful candidates will be expected to work towards a Level 3 apprenticeship in accordance with the Business Administrator apprenticeship standard which can be viewed here. This will involve a proportion of the working week covering the course, and/or completing coursework, combined with supported workplace training.
Applicants should be educated to GCSE level or equivalent. They should ideally have five GCSEs, including Maths and English (Grades 9 to 4 (A* to C) and possess sufficient I.T. skills to learn relevant software tools under supervision, i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.

Entry requirements for those currently in employment will be based on meeting funding eligibility and requirements of both the training provider and JBA Consulting.
