As well as case studies there will be hands-on exercises and the use of a portable hydraulic flume to illustrate key hydraulic principles. Jeremy is the Executive Chairman of JBA Group. He has over 32 years’ water engineering, management and hydrology experience working in the UK and overseas and has published and lectured widely on these subjects. He has been involved with flood risk mapping (at national and local scales) since 1984 and is Framework Director for the Water & Environmental Management Framework with UK flood management authorities. He is also a lecturer on the Lancaster University and JBA PgCert course on river hydraulics.
