Are you seeking a new career opportunity in flood risk management?

Would you like to work with a dynamic and growing environmental consulting company?

We are looking for engineers specialising in drainage design and flood risk management to join our teams in Skipton, Coleshill, Newport and Warrington.  Our teams provide strategic, feasibility and design advice to a range of clients involved in development and land use planning and flood risk projects, including surface water drainage design, flood risk assessments, catchment scale flood management and flood defence feasibility studies through framework appointments.

The varied workload for these projects involves site viability assessments, strategic surface and foul water drainage designs, flood risk assessments, site walkovers and commissioning surveys as required.  You will supervise satisfactory resolution to engineering issues identified during planning applications, supporting clients in gaining the necessary approvals.  You will liaise with developers/clients, consult with regulators and planning authorities and work with inter-disciplinary teams from within JBA to deliver suitable designs.

The ideal candidate will gain experience implementing the National Planning Policy Framework, building regulations, Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations and other development related guidance and standards in their work.
