Webinar 5: Sustainable drainage and blue-green infrastructure

In this webinar you’ll learn about managing surface water run-off to create resilience to extreme rainfall, climate change and urbanisation. We’ll take you through the basics of SuDS, looking at different options of slowing the flow, from re-using water and allowing water to soak in, to moving water and storing water. The webinar will also look at how we can take opportunities to gain the most benefit from SuDS.  This webinar will include:

  • What is sustainable drainage?
  • What are the drivers for ‘good’ SuDS?
  • How do we maximise the benefits of SuDS?
  • What legislation, guidance and standards are there?

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the webinar.
