We are thrilled to have been shortlisted for two awards at the CIEEM 2022 Awards, due to be held on 22 June in London.
After being named Consultancy of the Year (Medium) at the 2021 CIEEM awards, we are incredibly proud to have been shortlisted as a finalist in the same category at this year’s CIEEM Awards.
Alongside this fantastic achievement, our Water and Abandoned Metal Mines project on the River West Allen, Northumberland has also been recognised by CIEEM, and has been shortlisted for a Best Practice Award in the field of Mitigation.
As part of this one-of-a-kind project we provided multiple solutions to reduce and limit the impact of pollution caused by historic mining. However, it’s our work to translocate patches of rare Calaminarian plant, Thrift, of which only 450ha remain in the UK, that has been acknowledged by CIEEM.
To be shortlisted for two such high profile awards is testament to the hard work and dedication of our Ecology and Environmental teams, and everybody at JBA who played a key role in the delivery of our Water and Abandoned Metal Mines project.
