The annual Flood and Coast Conference and Expo takes place 28 June – 01 July and we’re delighted to be supporting the event with a number of guest speakers from across JBA joining proceedings.
The four-day event will address some of the most important issues in flood and coastal erosion risk management (FCERM) and will be held virtually with interactive sessions, live exhibition booths and networking opportunities throughout.
Each day a number of speakers will be sharing their expertise, with three representatives from JBA lending their industry knowledge and know-how.
Day 2 – Women in FCERM
29 June, 10:45-11:45
Technical Director, Hannah Coogan, will be the first of our representatives to take the stage, discussing how the Women in FCERM networking group supports and empowers women across the flooding and coastal risk management industry.
Day 2 – Understanding water: innovation in hydrology and hydraulics
29 June, 14:00-15:00
Lending her expertise on day two will be Technical Director, Kate Bradbrook, who will join an esteemed panel to discuss how the movement of water across land and through the hydrologic cycle is evolving, alongside the way it’s tracked and assessed.
Day 3 – Mainstreaming multifunctionality in sustainable drainage (SuDS)
30 June, 14:00-15:00
The final JBA representative to share their industry expertise will be Associate Director, George Baker, who will be one of a number of speakers sharing their success stories of getting SuDS included in new developments, the challenges faced and the support and networks available.
