As an integral part of our Software/Systems Development team you will gain experience in the application of the software development life cycle and be exposed to multiple software languages and database technologies. You’ll also learn about advanced data and GIS analysis, high performance processing (distributed CPU and GPU) and system and architecture design.
Engineering Graduate Role Requirements
To be considered for a place on our Software Development Graduate Scheme you need to meet (or aspire to) the following requirements:
Good grades at A-Level in one or more of the following subjects: Maths, Science, Technology or Engineering.
A degree in a relevant discipline e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Maths, Geography or the Sciences. A higher degree may be advantageous, but not essential.
Core knowledge in modern programming languages (.NET, C, Python, JAVA) and RDMS (ideally Microsoft SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL).
Ability to work using agile principles and methodologies.
Previous experience using source control and process management (Azure DevOps, Github).
Knowledge/interest in being part of a multi-disciplinary team, and motivated to work on projects related to the natural and built environment.
