Web Applications
JBA has developed a variety of systems on all of the primary platforms, including Pocket PC, desktop and web environments.
These have been both conventional systems (textual, financial and management) as well as GIS mapping applications. The web is increasingly the primary platform of choice and JBA offers a range of services including operational requirements, web design, development and hosting.
We have been developing corporate intranet and Internet web applications since 1999, using a range of technologies (ASP, Javascript, C#), but more recently using the .NET development environment, with AJAX technologies, to provide more interactive controls and a better look and feel to the web page design.
JBA prides itself on being able to work directly with our clients from their initial specification, however briefly defined, through the development of the operational requirements, specification, design, implementation and delivery of the final system. JBA also provides training in the use of the applications developed and can facilitate clients in the adoption of the product throughout their organisations. Frequently JBA is required to accommodate changes in client aspirations as projects develop and additional opportunities arise for functional improvements. JBA remains flexible throughout the entire process to ensure that clients’ requirements are not only satisfied, but exceeded.
Web application areas include:
- Asset Management
- Flood Risk Management
- Business Information Sytems
- Flood Warnings for Infrastructure
