JBA was commissioned by the Office of Public Works to write The Planning System and Flood Risk Management. 

The publication is a set of guidelines for planners at national, regional, local authority and site-specific levels.  Their use ensures that flood risk identification, assessment and management are fully incorporated into the planning process.
