Getting Here


By Rail


Nearest rail (and Metro) station is Newcastle (Central Station) and the office is a 5 minute walk from here. For timetable and availability see Network Rail.
From Central Station, leave by the main entrance and turn right, walking along Neville Street.  After 500m, there are traffic lights at the intersection with New Bridge Street.  St Nicholas Cathedral is opposite, and the Cathedral entrance to Milburn House is behind the church at the far side of the courtyard.


By Bicycle


There are on street facilities near the office for securing bicycles.


By Road from the North


Follow the A167 (from the A1) into Newcastle towards the Tyne Bridge. Take the first slip road  before crossing the river (just before the road passes under an office block, signposted railway station), leading to a large roundabout. Leave at the third exit (Moseley Street).  For Dean Street Car Park, take the first left at the traffic lights. The car park is approximately 100m on the left. The Dean Street entrance to Milburn House is a further 25m on the right.


By Road from the South


Turn off the A1 before the Metrocentre (signposted Gateshead and Newcastle) onto the A184. Stay in the left hand lane to go under the Redheugh Bridge via the roundabout. Follow the road towards Gateshead until you are forced to turn left onto the Tyne Bridge (A167). Take the first slip road after crossing the river, leading to a large roundabout and leave at the first exit (Moseley Street). For Dean Street Car Park, take the first left at the traffic lights. The car park is approximately 100m on the left. The Dean Street entrance to Milburn House is a further 25m on the right.


Parking


There is limited metered on street parking adjacent to the office on Dean Street, but there are ample spaces in the City centre's many car parks (all of which require payment). Dean Street is the closest of these. (For a parking map of the city centre see www.newcastle.gov.uk/map/map.pdf.


By Plane


Nearest airport is Newcastle International  www.newcastleairport.co.uk.  A metro service is available from the airport.  Alight at Central Station.


Inside Milburn House


From the cathedral entrance:


Walk straight ahead until you reach a circular central hall. Take the lift down to Floor E. JBA is signposted from here along the west corridor.


From the Dean Street entrance:


Walk straight ahead until you reach a circular central hall. Take the lift up to Floor E. JBA is signposted from here along the west corridor. Alternatively take the stairs on the right [opposite Opus Fine Art] up one floor to Floor E and turn left. JBA is to the right.


Disabled access/facilities


There are no designated facilities at this office.  Disabled visitors are advised to make contact with the office prior to their arrival so that suitable arrangements may be made.
